Rock Creek Foundation in Silver Spring, MD, is seeking a Part-Time Housing and Entitlements Specialist to support the Consumer Entitlements and Benefits Manager. You will assist with administrative tasks, communicate with clients and third parties, and help provide personalized housing supports within a respectful, community-focused team.

The role emphasizes coordination with DHHS, MHA, and other agencies, along with process improvements and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 2 years' experience in human services.
• Knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office software, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist CEBS with administrative tasks and communications with consumers.
• Process mail and maintain records for entitlement programs.
• update trackers for benefits and coordinate with DDA/MHA staff.
• Communicate with consumers and third-party representatives for verifications.
• Help develop standard operating procedures for housing plans.
