Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management's Staybridge Suites Wilmington Downtown is seeking a part-time maintenance technician to handle mechanical and electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and facility upkeep across the property.

The role requires the ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and general equipment, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with hotel staff to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Must recognize safety hazards and follow hotel policies and procedures.
• Proficient with basic hand and electric tools.
• High school diploma preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions in mechanical or electrical hotel systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis (e.g., room care).
• Maintains the pool and grounds, including chemicals and filtering.
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions.
• Assists other engineering personnel and performs related duties as needed.
