Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Bradenton West is seeking a Part Time Maintenance team member with weeknight and weekend day availability. You will maintain hotel systems, respond to guest repair requests, and perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of general maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure while prioritizing tasks. Basic HVAC, electrical, and plumbing knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED required.
• Minimum of two years experience in maintenance.
• Experience in general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and painting.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Well organized and able to prioritize tasks.
• Experience in preventative maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and address concerns.
• Operate and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems.
• Review new maintenance requests from PMS and update task remarks.
• Read meters and gauges; interpret readings.
• Prioritize and organize work assignments; work under pressure.
• Maintain confidentiality of guests and hotel information.
• Ensure security of guest room access and hotel property.
• Complete required reports for quality assurance.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and facilities.
• Be available for emergencies and act to protect guests and property.
