Job summary

Bradford Health Services is seeking a Part Time Maintenance Technician in Jacksonville, FL. The role covers routine building upkeep across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems, plus general site tasks and on-call support.

You will respond to work orders, schedule vendors, and help maintain safety standards. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of experience, and strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Additional licenses or certifications preferred.
• Ability to use computers.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and interpret written information.
• Flexible schedule including on-call, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall).
• Perform low voltage wiring and troubleshoot CCTV, Burglar, Fire, Access and Intercom equipment.
• Respond to and close out work orders, maintaining the maintenance schedule.
• Schedule vendors and contractors for non-routine repairs.
• Complete general repairs such as painting, patching walls and hardware.
• Landscape tasks including mowing, weeding and trimming as needed.
• Operate tools and equipment safely; perform snow/ice removal when required.
• Maintain pool upkeep per state standards (location dependent).
• Enforce health and safety best practices on-site; assist with events setup/cleanup.
• Serve as site ambassador and fill in for Manager as needed.
