Job summary

Hampton Inn is seeking a Part-Time Hotel Front Desk Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. You will perform nightly front desk duties, handle guest check-ins and inquiries, and assist with bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate nightly reconciliations.

The role requires presenting outstanding customer service, strong communication, and computer proficiency. Overnight hours are required, with flexibility for shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Experience in hospitality or guest services is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with computers and reservation/accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Work 8-hour shifts on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
• Complete bookkeeping and administrative procedures as requested.
• Audit and reconcile cash, card transactions, room charges, and occupancy percentages.
• Ensure guests have a pleasant stay and resolve inquiries or complaints.
• Handle reservations, check-ins, and delegated housekeeping/service requests as needed.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for hotel management.

• Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift for 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Complete additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as requested
• Audit and reconcile all financial records such as cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, room charges, final bill preparation, and occupancy percentages
• Make sure every hotel guest has a pleasant stay
• Delegate housekeeping, security, and service requests, respond to guest inquiries and resolve guest complaints, process reservations and check-ins, and other front desk agent duties as required
• Produce and distribute daily weekly, and monthly reports to hotel management, department heads, and general manager
• Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours during a typical shift
• Proficiency with computers is required; experience with reservation and accounting software is desired
• Outstanding communication skills and excellent customer service skills are required
• Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required
• Overnight shift; requires flexible hours
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred

Compensation

$13 - $14 hourly
