Job summary

Salamander Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Guest Service Associate at our Charleston property. This part-time role handles guest registration, check-out, cashiering, and front desk inquiries to ensure a smooth stay.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, verifying reservations, processing payments, maintaining the house bank, handling late check-outs and guest requests, and promoting the loyalty program. Strong English and basic computer skills required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to work in a stressful environment.
• Must speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
• Register guests into the computer, verify reservation and payment info.
• Process payments at registration and checkout; maintain a house bank.
• Answer phones and handle late check-outs, room changes, and inquiries.
• Promote the Guest Loyalty Program and provide guest information.
