Job summary

HM Alpha Hotels & Resorts currently seeks a skilled bartender to craft cocktails and provide engaging hospitality at Marriott Del Mar. You will manage bar operations, serve drinks and food, handle payments, and maintain an inviting, high-energy service line.

The role requires mixology expertise, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while upholding safety and responsible alcohol service. Prior hotel/food & beverage experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• TIPS certification or equivalent required.
• Experience in hotel/bar/restaurant settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cocktails and mixed drinks per recipes and guest requests.
• Serve wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and food promptly and professionally.
• Process guest payments and reconcile cash accurately.
• Order and replenish liquor, beverages, glassware, and supplies.
• Maintain an organized, visually appealing bar and uphold cleanliness standards.
• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
• Lead associates when in a lead role and delegate tasks as needed.
