Job summary

RMD Group is seeking a high-energy Bartender in Del Mar, CA. The role emphasizes hosting guests, crafting classic and innovative cocktails, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

You should have at least 2 years of bartending experience, strong cocktail knowledge, and familiarity with POS systems. This is a part-time position with tip eligibility and requires a Food Handler Card and related certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar operations.
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills.
• Valid Food Handler Card and RBS certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to company standards.
• Engage with guests, make recommendations, and deliver an elevated bar experience.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and stock levels behind the bar.
• Execute opening, running, and closing side work efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with ID checks, alcohol service laws, and safety standards.
• Process transactions accurately using POS systems (Toast).
• Collaborate with service staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Contribute to menu knowledge, upselling, and cocktail development.
