Job summary

Computer-Systems-Institute in Allston, MA is seeking an adjunct instructor to lead the Hospitality Leadership concentration. You will plan and deliver in-class instruction using approved curriculum and assessment tools to support student success.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field, plus practical experience. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, guiding PBL projects, advising students, and contributing to program improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field.
• Candidates with at least two years of related work experience may be considered.
• Ability to plan lessons and assess student progress.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 27.5 hours per week.
• Prepare lesson plans for each class session.
• Deliver lectures and facilitate project-based learning (PBL).
• Assist students in the learning process.
• Evaluate and monitor student progress using assessments.
• Keep records to report SAP to the Academic Dean/Program Manager.
• Attend quarterly instructor in-service meetings.
• Stay informed about teaching advancements via professional development.
• Organize and lead field outings for student enrichment.
• Contribute to program improvement through committees.
• Provide academic advising to support student growth and retention.
