Job summary

Computer Systems Institute in Allston, MA is seeking a part-time Adjunct Instructor for the Organizational Administration concentration to teach Office Systems and Administration, Employee Relations, and Organizational Behavior.

You will plan and deliver in-class instruction with approved curriculum, prepare lesson plans, deliver lectures, facilitate Project-Based Learning, assist students, and monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, HR or a related field is required.
• Candidates with a degree outside business administration/HR may be considered with at least two years of related experience or relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses: Office Systems and Administration; Employee Relations; Organizational Behavior.
• Plan and deliver in-class instruction with approved curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans for each class session.
• Deliver lectures and facilitate Project-Based Learning (PBL).
• Assist students in the learning process and monitor progress using assessment tools.
• Maintain records to report SAP to the Academic Dean/Program Manager.
• Attend quarterly instructor in-service meetings and participate in professional development.
• Organize field outings for student enrichment once per module.
• Contribute to program improvement through committee involvement.
• Provide academic advising to support student growth and retention.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field

Two years of related work experience or evidence of specialized training
