Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd Staffing Office in New Albany, IN is seeking a Staffing Coordinator for a part-time schedule. 32 hours biweekly, 8 hours across two shifts per week, 2:30p-11:00p, rotating every 3rd weekend.

The Staffing Coordinator coordinates daily staffing operations to support safe patient care, manages call-ins, float assignments, and resource allocation, and acts as a central communications hub in a 24/7 hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Two (2) years experience.
• Two (2) years healthcare scheduling, staffing or administrative experience preferred; Experience in hospital operations or staffing coordination preferred; Familiarity with staffing and scheduling systems (i.e. API, Workday) preferred; Proficient in Microsoft Office applications highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily staffing operations across the hospital to support safe patient care and operational efficiency.
• Manage staffing adjustments, call-ins, float assignments, and staffing resource allocation; collaborate with nursing leaders and departmental leadership.
• Serve as a central communication resource for staffing operations in a 24/7 healthcare environment.
