Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Professional for a hospital environment. The role involves security patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, and reporting within a healthcare facility.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license if operating a company vehicle, and at least 2 years in customer service or protective services. TB testing and vaccinations may be required, and drug screening will be conducted as permitted by law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Driver's license if driving a company- or customer-owned vehicle may be required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Minimum two years of verifiable employment in customer service or protective services.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to operate radio/console monitors.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or vehicle; document observations.
• Assist staff with de-escalation of situations and restrain if necessary.
• Transport patients to the morgue when needed.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room.
• Assist with evacuations during fires or medical emergencies.
• Sound alarms or call authorities when needed.
• Monitor entrances/exits and verify authorized access.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports.
