Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional - Unarmed for hospital site operations. The role involves on-site patrols, access control, CCTV monitoring, and incident reporting in a healthcare environment.

The position requires high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and 2+ years in customer service or protective services. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively and assist in de-escalation and emergency responses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license if driving company or customer owned vehicle.
• Minimum of two years in customer service or protective services.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to operate radio/telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Demonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Active listening skills.
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations quickly.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of hospital grounds on foot or in vehicle; document detailed observations of conditions that may create security concerns.
• Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain combative individuals as necessary within guidelines.
• Transport patients to the morgue, as needed.
• Escort patients from helicopter pad to the emergency room.
• Assist with evacuations during fires, medical emergencies, and natural disasters.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department if needed.
• Monitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized access.
