Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• IAHSS Basic Security Officer training within six months at the officer’s expense.
• Ability to read and comprehend hospital/departmental policies and procedures.
• Ability to conduct preliminary investigations and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas on foot, by vehicle, or bicycle and monitor security cameras.
• Intervene in conflicts or incidents to maintain order and remove threats.
• Conduct preliminary investigations and document incidents thoroughly.
• Respond to emergencies and internal disasters; provide assistance as needed.
• Escort staff/visitors and manage lock/unlock and parking control duties.
• Comply with SEE procedures and hospital security policies.
