Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join their team serving Punxsutawney, PA. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions, and support quality of life goals. This clinical role works with Inpatient and Outpatient care within a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has a nutrition degree and relevant licensure, with experience in healthcare. We offer weekly pay, benefits, and a supportive work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (or related field) required.
• Pass the CDR national exam or meet AND eligibility.
• Complete 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies impacting dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
