Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for Punxsutawney Area Hospital in Punxsutawney, PA. You will evaluate patients' nutritional needs, develop care plans, and support inpatient and outpatient nutrition services.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024).
• Pass a national exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meet requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Aufgaben

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
