Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team in Punxsutawney, PA. You will identify nutritional needs of patients/residents, initiate interventions to maintain or improve status, and help enhance quality of life consistent with goals.

This clinical role supports inpatient and outpatient care, collaborates with the health care team, educates patients and staff, and adheres to the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Passed a national examination by the CDR or eligibility requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach nutrition concepts to others.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients and staff.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop procedures and problem-solve dining nutrition issues.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
