Job summary

Cura Hospitality seeks a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for Punxsutawney, PA, to assess nutritional needs of patients/residents and initiate interventions in inpatient and outpatient care. You will enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field (prior to 2024).
• Passed a national exam by the CDR or eligible per ANDA requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents and staff.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in quality improvement programs and reviews.
