Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a part-time Case Manager in Reno, NV to oversee the inpatient case management process from admission to discharge. You will coordinate assessments, plans and referrals while working with physicians, nurses, and social workers to ensure timely, appropriate discharge planning.

The role requires an RN license in Nevada, at least 5 years in nursing with leadership experience, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and hold an active Nevada RN license.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing required; a master's degree is preferred.
• Five or more years of nursing experience with at least five years in leadership roles.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the case management process from admission to discharge, ensuring quality of care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate assessment, planning and discharge planning.
• Provide consultation and education to facility leadership and staff on utilization and discharge practices.
