Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead discharge planning and utilization management in Nevada. You will collaborate with patients, families and the care team to optimize outcomes and reimbursement across inpatient services.

The ideal candidate has a Nevada RN license and at least three years of clinical experience, including utilization review or case management. Strong computer skills and knowledge of discharge resources are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum three years of clinical experience; two years in Utilization Review/Case Management preferred.
• Current Nevada RN license.
• Knowledge of social and physical factors affecting discharge planning.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and data management programs.

Responsibilities

• Establish safe, individualized discharge plans and provide timely utilization management to maximize reimbursement.
• Collaborate with patient, family and healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure timely outcomes.
