Job summary

Great Hearts Academies is seeking an After-School Homework Club Teacher for the Great Hearts Irving Lower School in Irving, TX. This part-time afternoon role supports middle school students with homework, enrichment, and fun.

Ideal candidates have some college, experience with children, strong communication, and the ability to lead and teach. Applicants must complete Texas DPS fingerprint clearance, pass a background check, be at least 18, and be eligible to work in the U.S.

Requirements

• Must complete Texas Department of Public Safety fingerprint clearance and background check.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age by start date.

Physical Functions

Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 50 pounds approximately.

US Work Authorization

US Work Authorization is required.

Employment Conditions

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal history background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with state requirements.

Travel Required

May need to travel locally for training and professional development opportunities.
