Job summary

Lowe's in the United States is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement. You'll listen, answer questions, and ensure customer needs are met, while engaging across departments such as Appliances, Hardware, and Plumbing.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting and accessing information).
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (phones, tablets).
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds with team lifts as needed.
• Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by replenishing shelves and organizing displays.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure on-time arrival.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
