Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right home improvement products and services. You’ll interact with shoppers throughout the day, assist with locating items, and ensure customer needs are met in a friendly environment.

In this role you may work in various departments based on store needs. The position emphasizes customer interaction, product knowledge, and teamwork across store areas.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer or similar device.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Ability to perform duties requiring standing or sitting for extended periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and ensure on-time delivery of merchandise.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (paint, pipes, wood, etc.).
• Guide customers through shopping and checkout.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
