Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and ensure a smooth shopping experience in-store. You’ll interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating merchandise, and help at checkout as needed.

The role involves varying duties by department and requires basic computer and retail tech skills, plus the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (phones/tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic ability.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform related duties.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by replenishing shelves.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time receipt.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve service.
• Prepare department merchandise to meet customer needs (e.g., paint, pipe, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
