Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home evaluations and therapies, focusing on speech, language, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders for adults. You’ll support AAC and aural rehabilitation in a home-health setting.

Eligible for benefits, PTO and a comprehensive benefits package. Licensure, CCC-SLP and CPR certifications are required, with the option for career growth within a trusted national care provider.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with clinical practicum from an accredited program.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC systems for deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals.
• Other duties as assigned.
