Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a part-time Speech Pathologist to provide in-home care, assessing and treating adults with speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders.

You will work 30 hours per week with benefits; licensure in the state; CCC-SLP; CPR; and preferred 1+ year of experience. Amedisys offers comprehensive benefits including medical plans, PTO, wellness rewards, 401(k) match, and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Current, valid license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with completed graduate coursework and accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive- communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and AAC support for severe expressive/language disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.
