Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our home health team on a part-time daytime schedule. You will evaluate and treat adults with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in patients' homes.

Responsibilities include preventive and rehabilitative therapies, coordinating with other care providers, and utilizing AAC for patients with communication challenges. We offer flexibility, growth, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• CCC-SLP certification with completed graduate coursework and clinical practicum at an accredited program.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and provide AAC systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
• Other duties as assigned.
