Job summary

Amedisys in the United States is seeking a part-time Speech Pathologist to deliver home-based care and help patients heal where they feel most comfortable, at home. You will assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders in adults, with CCC-SLP and CPR required and one year of experience preferred.

Compensation is $48.00–$56.00 per hour, with benefits including medical plans, PTO and more.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology in the assigned state.
• Current CCC-SLP certification with graduate coursework and practicum accredited by the CAA.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Other duties as assigned.
