Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver in-home care across Marion County, FL. You will provide skilled education, treatment, and interventions under physician-directed home health plans, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include direct therapy, patient education, documentation, and communication with caregivers. Must have PTA credential, active Florida license, and CPR certification to join a mission-driven provider delivering

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current, unrestricted state PTA license.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Communicates regularly with patients and caregivers about the plan of care.
• Delivers skilled therapy services and procedures per the plan of care.
• Reports patient status to supervisor and physician as appropriate.
• Educates patients and caregivers on safe use of assistive devices.
