Qualifications

• Graduation from a Physical Therapist Assistant education program from an accredited university/program.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• Valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct physical therapy according to the physician’s plan of care.
• Educates patients and caregivers regarding rehabilitation techniques.
• Plans for client’s discharge and prepares discharge instructions.
