Qualifications

• PTA degree from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Minnesota PTA license.
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct physical therapy under the direction of a licensed PT and in accordance with the plan of care.
• Educates patients and families about the plan of care and rehabilitation strategies.
• Delivers skilled therapies and procedures safely and effectively.
• Documents patient progress and communicates changes to the supervising clinician.
• Assists with discharge planning and caregiver instruction.
• Maintains professional standards and confidentiality of patient information.
