Qualifications

• Graduate from a Physical Therapist Assistant education program accredited by a recognized body.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida.
• Valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct physical therapy per the plan of care and under supervision.
• Educates patients and caregivers on safe use of assistive devices.
• Communicates progress to the supervising physical therapist and care team.
• Documents treatment notes and patient responses promptly.
• Assists with discharge planning and patient education during home visits.
