Job summary

Prestige Home Care LLC is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for a part-time role in Annville, PA. This position offers a competitive hourly rate based on experience, with 20 hours per week and a remote work note indicating flexible engagement.

You will support individuals with daily living activities, mobility, meal prep, and community participation while following ISP and safety protocols. Training is provided to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation (preferred).
• Ability to pass Pennsylvania State Police, Child Abuse, and FBI background checks, when applicable.
• Ability to complete agency orientation and required ODP training.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or will be provided.
• Previous experience in direct care or related fields is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, and daily living activities.
• Encourage independence and teach life skills aligned with individual goals.
• Assist participation in community activities, appointments, recreation, employment, and volunteering.
• Build positive relationships while respecting participant rights, choices, and preferences.
• Implement ISP, behavior support strategies, and risk mitigation plans.
• Monitor health and safety and report concerns promptly.
• Complete accurate daily documentation and electronic service records.
• Report incidents per Pennsylvania ODP requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Participate in required training, meetings, and quality improvement activities.
