Qualifications

• Maintain DFS certification.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (read, write, follow directions).
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing).
• Sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Provide personal hygiene care (bathing, grooming).
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as directed.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and special diets.
• Provide companionship and age-appropriate activities.
• Light housekeeping as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and report changes in patient condition.
