Job summary

Action Health Staffing is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide home care in the Wilson area. The position follows a part-time schedule with shifts Monday through Wednesday 12:00–5:00 and Friday 1:00–4:00, offering excellent pay and flexible hours.

As a home care aide, you will deliver direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, monitor client condition, document in EVV, and collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure quality, respectful care in the patient’s

Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing.
• Sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Perform personal hygiene care such as baths, shaving, hair care, mouth care.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises as instructed by supervising clinicians.
• Prepare meals considering client preferences and special diets.
• Provide companionship and activities tailored to the client.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality health care.
• Maintain complete and accurate records required by the agency.
• Record and report changes in client condition.
• Complete EVV tasks as per Aide Plan or EVV timesheet.
• Demonstrate dependability and punctuality.
• Adapt to client and family value systems.
• Promote independence within client abilities.
• Perform other duties per the care plan.
