Job description

Job Title: Part-Time History Teacher, Upper School

Sidwell Friends School, a coeducational Quaker day school with campuses in Washington, DC, and Bethesda, MD, is seeking a part-time teacher of East Asian or South Asian History for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in History or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
  • Teaching experience, preferably at the high school level
  • Experience teaching global history and the history of East Asia or South Asia is preferred
