Job summary

Nexplore is hiring an Instructor to deliver high‑quality, in‑person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and Fitness instruction to PreK-12 students at Demarest, NJ. You will work with trained curricula, schedule, and materials, reporting to a Program Success Manager.

The role is part-time with an AA degree or higher, 2+ years teaching experience, and strong communication skills. A reliable transportation and commitment to training are expected.

Qualifications

• AA Degree (or higher) required.
• 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred).
• Experience working with children and educational training experience.

Responsibilities

• Consistency - Follow a provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach, review lesson plans and materials prior to instruction.
• Competence - Deliver meaningful, standard‑aligned instruction that cultivates critical thinking and problem solving.
• Communication - Engage in professional, responsive, effective communication with the Program Success Manager and site personnel.
• Creativity - Deliver inspiring instruction from Nexplore’s collection of 80+ programs, administering accommodations and extensions.
• Community - Participate in family engagement efforts and empower each child to engage in Nexplore programs.
