Job summary

Nexplore is seeking a part‑time Instructor to deliver in‑person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness instruction to PreK‑12 students. You will be provided with training, lesson plans, curriculum, and materials, and you’ll teach on a scheduled basis at our sites.

Reports to a Program Success Manager. Qualifications include AA degree or higher, 2+ years teaching or instructing, experience with children, strong communication and presentation skills, reliable transportation, and

Qualifications

2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
Experience working with children
Educational (development or training) experience
Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
Must commit to the full proposed schedule
Great communication and presentation skills
Reliable transportation
Willing to complete mandatory training

Responsibilities

Consistency – Follow a provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach (review lesson plans and materials).
Competence – Deliver meaningful, standard‑aligned instruction and manage all supplied materials.
Communication – Engage in professional, responsive communication with Program Success Manager and site personnel.
Creativity – Deliver inspiring instruction from Nexplore’s collection of programs and provide accommodations as needed.
Community – Engage families and help each child access and engage in Nexplore programs.
