Job summary

Nexplore is seeking an in-person instructor to deliver STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills and/or Fitness to PreK-12 students. You will be provided with training, lesson plans, curriculum and materials; teaching assignments vary by site and you will report to a Program Success Manager.

This part-time role requires punctuality, preparation, and strong communication with site staff. A minimum AA degree and 2+ years teaching are preferred; reliable transportation and scheduling commitment are

Qualifications

• AA Degree (or higher) in any field.
• 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred).
• Experience working with children.
• Educational (development or training) experience.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
• Great communication and presentation skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Consistency - follow schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach; review lesson plans and materials.
• Competence - deliver standard-aligned instruction that fosters critical thinking and joy in learning.
• Communication - engage professionally with Program Success Manager and site personnel.
• Creativity - deliver instruction from Nexplore’s programs with accommodations as needed.
• Community - participate in family engagement efforts and empower each child to engage in Nexplore programs.
