Job summary

Nexplore is hiring a part-time instructor to deliver high-quality, in-person STEM, Digital Tech, Art, Life Skills, and/or Fitness instruction to PreK‑12 students. You will work with training, lesson plans, curriculum, and materials, and teach across various assignments reporting to a Program Success Manager.

You will prepare for instruction, follow provided schedules, and ensure on-time delivery of lessons while engaging students and families to foster learning joy.

Qualifications

• AA degree (or higher) required.
• 2+ years teaching or instructing experience preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule.
• Great communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow a provided schedule, arrive on time and prepared to teach (review lesson plans and materials prior to instruction), and maintain compliance with site expectations.
• Deliver meaningful, standard-aligned instruction that cultivates critical thinking, problem solving, and joy in the learning process. Manage all supplied instructional materials.
• Engage in professional, responsive, effective communication with Nexplore Program Success Manager and site personnel.
• Deliver inspiring instruction from Nexplore’s collection of 80+ programs, administering accommodations and extensions as relevant.
• Participate in family engagement efforts (welcome letters, showcases, etc.) and empower each child to meaningfully access and engage in Nexplore programs.
