Job summary

Study Smart in Washington, DC is seeking tutors for Math and ELA instruction for 9th–12th graders. In-person availability is required, with hours Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:45 AM to 12:45 PM.

You will provide tutoring in small and large groups, access class materials, and collaborate with the Education team to develop effective strategies. Requirements include a completed 4-year degree and teaching or tutoring experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• In-person availability is required.
• Scheduled hours: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 9:45 AM to 12:45 PM.
• Background check completion may include fingerprinting depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Access information about class assignments and adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies.
