Job summary

Study Smart Tutors in Texas is seeking tutors to provide tutoring across Math, ELA, Science, and Social Studies for 8th Grade students. You will support small and large groups, access class assignments, and adapt to materials and teaching strategies.

In-person availability is required, and duties include collaborating with the Education team to deliver comprehensive learning strategies. Training and onboarding are provided, with opportunities for professional development and advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• In-person availability is required.
• Availability Mondays through Fridays from during/afterschool hours.
• Background check may include fingerprinting based on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutor will have access to information about class assignments.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.
