Job summary

Twin Oaks Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking a dependable, skilled, and safety‑conscious Part‑Time Maintenance Assistant to support the daily maintenance and physical plant operations of the facility.

The Maintenance Assistant works under the direction of the Director of Maintenance and assists with preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, equipment upkeep, and general building needs, while ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in building maintenance or healthcare environment preferred.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Reliable, organized and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Maintenance with daily maintenance and physical plant operations.
• Perform routine repairs involving plumbing, electrical fixtures, doors, walls, ceilings, flooring.
• Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks and document work.
• Respond to maintenance work orders and resident/staff requests.
• Maintain safe and orderly maintenance areas and equipment.
