Job summary

Twin Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe and comfortable for residents. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with minor repairs, and support daily operations under the Maintenance Supervisor.

Ideal candidates will have experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, and emergency generators, plus a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers and emergency generators.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance principles.
• Clear communication and ability to work well in a team.
• Safety-focused, detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to adapt to changing facility needs and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned.
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools.
• Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Report and respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
