West Florida Area Health Education Center (AHEC) seeks a Part-Time Health Educator to support the Tobacco Free Florida AHEC Cessation Program and the AHEC Scholars Program in Crestview, FL. This role suits an organized, outgoing candidate who enjoys outreach and program coordination.

Responsibilities include facilitating cessation groups, recruiting students, managing Google Classroom and program data, coordinating trainings, and partnering with colleges and community organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in public health, education, community outreach, or program coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate tobacco cessation groups and assist with participant referrals and follow-up.
• Recruit health professions students and promote the AHEC Scholars Program to colleges and community partners.
• Manage Google Classroom and maintain student records and program data.
• Monitor student participation and follow up to support completion of program requirements.
• Coordinate trainings, orientations, and recruitment events; support program reporting and administrative needs.
