Florida Department of Health is seeking a Planning Consultant to support the Cessation Section of Tobacco Free Florida in Tallahassee. You will manage specialized projects, coordinate with vendors and partners, and ensure deliverables align with program goals.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining positive working relationships across agencies and contractors.

Mansioni

• Serves as the Cessation Projects Coordinator and liaison for cross-functional teams on cessation and bureau projects.
• Manages assigned Member Projects, Special Projects, and purchase orders for Tobacco and Cancer programs.
• Maintains contract files; performs site visits and monitors vendor activities for compliance.
• Processes payments submitted by vendors on assigned projects and contracts.
• Attends TAC meetings and updates attendees on cessation projects.
• Provides presentations on Tobacco Free Florida's cessation component and assists with reports and data analysis.
• Attends the Florida State University Tobacco Treatment Specialist training after employment.
