Qualifications

• Hands-on food and beverage knowledge and a comprehensive, working knowledge of the hospitality business.
• Minimum of relevant host experience in a fine dining restaurant.
• Willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and attention to detail.
• Ability to engage guests at all levels and provide warm, personalized service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Must stand and walk for extended periods and maintain appearance standards.
• Clear, concise spoken and written English; reliable punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Consistent maintenance and refinement of service standards.
• Answering phones, managing reservations and table assignments, greeting and seating guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and restaurant space.
• Respond to guest requests promptly to create a memorable experience.
• Adhere to health, safety and sanitation standards and assist inspections.
• Attend required department trainings and meetings.
