Job summary

Omni Parker House is seeking a PART TIME Host - Greeter to welcome guests and set a positive tone in the dining experience. You will seat guests, manage reservations, answer phones and provide personalized service with a friendly demeanor.

You'll need strong English communication, hospitality knowledge, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting. Prior host experience in fine dining is preferred, and flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on food and beverage knowledge and hospitality industry know-how.
• Experience as a host in a fine dining setting is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong customer service, friendly demeanor, and attention to detail.
• Ability to engage guests at all levels and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain service standards and ensure compliance with hotel standards.
• Answer phone, manage reservations, seat guests, and explain restaurant concepts.
• Keep host stand and guest entrance organized and clean.
• Provide positive guest service and address complaints to turn guests into return visitors.
• Coordinate with kitchen and servers to ensure timely seating and service.
