Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Spring, TX is hiring a friendly Greeter to welcome guests and provide information, directions, and promotional materials. You will promote CLUB Membership, assist with in-store pickups, and maintain a clean front-end area.

You will check in merchandise for returns, manage vendor logs, and help staff at events while adhering to safety and dress code guidelines. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, strong communication, adaptability, and self-motivation in a

Qualifications

Minimum degree required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Adaptability to new processes and procedures.
Excellent self-motivation and initiative while unsupervised.

Responsibilities

Greets all customers as they enter the store in a friendly and outgoing manner.
Actively promoting programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pickup.
Adheres to dress code and presents a professional image with Bass Pro Shops or Cabela's branding.
Checks in all customers' merchandise for return.
Checks in all Vendor representatives and logs visitor information and badges.
Informs customers about events and promotions and distributes promotional materials.
Maintains clean, tidy, and safe entryway and work area.
Facilitates guest check-in for firearms/weapons with trained Outfitter; greeters do not handle firearms.
