Job summary

Sandalwood Management is seeking a Part Time Porter/Groundskeeper to support maintenance, make-ready, and housekeeping teams at FishPond Living Buena Vista Apartments in San Antonio, TX. The role involves cleaning, make-ready preparation, and maintaining property grounds to Sandalwood standards.

Responsibilities include vacant-unit prep, office and common-area upkeep, and safe handling of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Porter/Janitorial/Groundskeeping experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare vacant units for resident move-ins.
• Perform cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing windows, sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens.
• Maintain common areas including office, social services center, restrooms and laundry rooms.
• Greet residents and respond to service requests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Report safety hazards or maintenance issues to supervisor or manager.
• Keep grounds tidy, remove litter, and ensure property appearance meets Sandalwood standards.
